The first day of Aircraft Interiors Expo begins with a top level press conference to debate some of the most pressing issues facing the cabin interiors sector. The discussion will cover areas such as the future of the passenger experience and what the latest trends are in cabin segmentation, seating and inflight entertainment.
All Aircraft Interiors attendees are welcome to attend this press conference and hear what our experts have got to say and the questions the present media have to ask.
Panellists
Aircraft Interiors Expo Industry Consultant, Vern Alg, who is a former Senior Manager of Interiors Engineering at Continental Airlines, has once again agreed to lead this session.
11am Crystal Cabin Award Gallery (6G95)
The Crystal Cabin Award is the only international award for excellence in aircraft interior innovation.
The award is designed to motivate companies and research facilities to develop new products and modern designs for aircraft cabin interiors. The development, manufacture and marketing of the innovative products or services must offer a potential essential customer benefit in terms of usefulness, both to the final consumer as well as to the parts manufacturers. The Crystal Cabin Award ultimate goal is to initiate a significant improvement in passenger comfort.
Winners will be presented in the Crystal Cabin Award Gallery in Hall B6, where you will also be able to get more information on each product.

Aircraft Interiors Expo will remain open for a hospitality evening on Tuesday 5 April and Wednesday 6 April between 5pm - 7.30pm. During this time some exhibitor stands will remain open to serve drinks / snacks.
Don’t forget to come and join the Aircraft Interiors team for some refreshments on the sales lounge stand 6G86 on Wednesday 6 April between 17.00 and 19.30.
Media Centre
The Media Centre can be located in Hall B7. CMS the Aircraft Interiors Expo PR agency will be on hand to help all media and exhibitors during the show days.
Flight Daily News
Flight Daily News will once again be producing the official show daily news at the event and their office can be located in the South entrance.
Internet Zone
The internet zone can be located in Hall B7 (stand 7A10) where there is also Wi-Fi connection, please refer to the main floor plan to locate the area.
Airline Lounge
The Airline Lounge can be located in Hall B7 which is available to all airline attendees. The lounge will provide free breakfast and lunch that will be served each day of the show. The lounge will also include complimentary Internet access – Wi-Fi.
